hotel which sets in your budget is a tough job. On top of that to find out a
‘Muslim friendly ‘budgeted hotel can be an extremely a difficult task. As a
Muslim budget traveller how will you come to know if a hotel is right for you

Like any
other average budgeted traveller, a Muslim backpacker traveller has different

appreciated by Muslim backpacker traveller. Along with the lists of halal restaurants,
if the hotel also provided a list of nearby mosques it would have also been
helpful. Moreover, the hotel should be updated to answer the queries regarding
prayer times and direction if the facility is not provided in the rooms.
Most of the
Muslims are also interested in activity like swimming but because of their
conservative nature and Islamic principles might not get involved
in such activities .So , if the hotel is looking for attracting more of Muslim
traveller they can also provide the facility of separate swimming pools or
beaches for conservative men and women.
The holy
month of Ramadan which comes every year in which the Muslims fast is another
way to attract the Muslim travellers. All they need is a hotel which provides
them with Halal Food in all the relevant times i.e in morning, evening and
night. Providing this service will attract more of Muslim population.
In this few
years , many of the travelling agencies has started targeting Muslim travellers
as they have come to know at a Muslim traveller spends $137 billion on tourism
which does not include the expenses arising from the pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

that in 2020, the Muslim tourism expenses will cross $180 billion. There are
